okay I started having symptoms of fibro, when i lived in a house with toxic black mold, thought i was dying, hurting all over, weak, headaches, all the good stuff, Dr put me in hospital , could not find anything wrong, I didnt know then the house had black mold, someone suggested that it could be mold causing my symptoms, my husband started looking and found the following pics i have attached, I called Dr and he told me to get the heck (other word) out of that house, we moved in with my mom.I started feeling better but doctor suggested I could have fibro.. after very little aches and pains i could live with and feeling better , i decided i didnt have this.. Well I moved to new city, got a great job with the possibility of making 35k year. and worked two weeks and it hit, I mean hit,I remembered since i was having all the same only in worse scenario symptoms.

I could not walk i was in so much pain all over, and I could not sleep for pain so i was exhausted, Made a appointment with Rheumy, I paid for it with my tax refund since i have no insurance. My bosses told me to take days off until they had a statement from dr saying i could work without restrictions, and i was cured, well rheumy i went to didnt want to hear what i had to say, but diagnosed me with fibro, then told me he had a study for me to be in... told me to only take tylenol for pain and no starting any physical therapy,or anything to help me go back to work, which is impossible since now i am going to lose everything and dont have anything to feed my kid etc...My hubby is disabled and that makes us not qualify for help, but did find we qualify for 73 dollars food stamps and applied for medical card for me and son, son got it , dont know about me yet,. but any way rheumy would not fill out papers for me to get medical card and told my hubby really hateful i could not be in his study, so I have nothing for treatment, still taking tylenol by the dozens with no help for pain.and waiting to hear about card. i have no money to see new doctor, and still am going to lose everything because not only will he not sign for the card but also will not sign for my leave of abscence from my job till i can work again and he sure wont sign anything for my ssdi, so I am really in a mess, I am really at the end of my ropewith dealing with all the stress and not having support from anyone , feeling very very useless and ready to just end it. I am so tired of trying to get help, i am one of those that drs call big babys cause i never wanted a shot and i never wanted pills, and now when i do need cant get... i am miserable,,, and dont at the moment want to live at all, really dont know how much i can take of this without help... so that is my story, gentle hugs to all .....

I had the mold virus too but I inhaled them now I have tiny little holes all in my lungs. My lungs have that artsy look to them now.. sooo deco LOL That was bad though. I feel for you having to go thru that also. You do know the great thing about Drs. though ...they are like McDonalds there is one on every corner. I suggest you get a new one. Go to the next town over if you have to noone should have to suffer just because your dr. decides to play God.

Have a wonderful day and dont give up Hugs!!!

Hey,Sweetie,

Don't give up yet, where do you live, I know in most States, they have charity hospitals, and they can bill you, that is how I had to do it, It's a slow process, but there are very good doctors there that volunteer their time to keep the unisured out of the expensive hospitals, it's a real pain to sit all day for an appt. but you will get the care you need, and if you don't like the doctor they assign you, you can request a new one, and there are a lot of suggestions maybe temporary until you can get some real medical attention, I know that hospitals cannot refuse you on your abitlity to pay. And if you ar suicidal, and have a plan, you will be admitted immediatly, and while you a on the mental stability ward, thay can do test, and get you a doctor, for other illnesses to check you out, keep all medical records, for future SSI benifits, there are also programs to help with utility bills, but you have to go digging for them, and churches, who also give out food and vouchers for clothing, My mother was a social worker for the wellfare dept. in Alabama, and there are programs out there to help but you have got to call at your local wellfare dept. and ask for the lists they have available for all types of help. Please don't do anything to harm yourself, you have a child whom this would probably affect for the rest of their life, Mom you can do this! You just have to push these people at the food stamp office and the wellfare office that you need the help more than some others, because there is a child involved, they do not voluteer this information, but if you keep pushing them they will help! Don't give, I have been there it's hard, but you can do this, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME AND I'LL SEE WHAT I CAN FIND OUT ABOUT YOUR STATE, FROM MY MOM. TISH!

Gosh, you have been through so much! Listen, I have no medical insurance anymore, and I had stopped going to the doctor unless I was really really sick b/c of no money. But I found that was hurting my chances to win my SSD case. So I started going more regularly to my cardio and rheumy appts. They really dont do much except check me over and maybe run more tests at the hospital, which is where I owe the most. They told me I had to pay $50 a month. I dont have even that to give them, so i am going to pay them $25 a month whether they like it or not. And if I have to have this big surgery my cardio is talking about, well, I am not too proud to have to file Bankruptcy to save my house.

It makes me so mad that there is not enough to do to help those in need.

Hang in there!!

Debbi
