Anyone else out there had their thyroid glands and/or tumors nuked? I had mine nuked about 4 years ago and I have been falling apart since? I had 8 benign tumors on my thyroid and the gland was super large so they "nuked" the whole mess. I had to have 2 additional nukings (called 1-131 Ablations) and now all that is left is 2 tiny noldules with no live tissue. I have had trouble getting my tsh levels settled. But it also led to diabetes and it gives my fibromyalgia fits. Right now I am coming off high dosages of Requip and the pain is horrible!! Missing lots and lots of work.
