"I have Crohn's Disease along with Fibromyalgia." (katiek)

MDJunction to me

"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunnyfly)

Cathy, I just started taking Lyrica last week and increased my dose yesterday. What concerns do you have? I am giving it a try as nothing else has been the one to completely help me. So far today I am sleepy & dizzy but otherwise am ok. The pain even seems less today but it's hard to rate cuz of the dizziness. Let us know what questions/concerns you have - there are many people here who have opinions from both sides of the coin.

Many fibro hugs to you for a better pain day {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

(((((((((Cathy)))))))))))

I started taking Lyrica on January 4th. I was worried because you hear all the side effects well I started taking1 75 mg pill at night for 3 nights, did not have a single side effect. So then started to take 1 in the morning and one at bedtime. Did this for 3 weeks then the Dr added a 3rd pill in the afternoon. The only thing I have noticed is the pain is not as intense and I am sleeping alot better then I had been. Sending you gentle hugs n lots of prayers,

Susie

The power of prayer is the best gift any of us can give to another and it is free! God is good Always!

joytobefree, I am wondering if the lyrica has changed your appetite at all? I am finding that I am starting to crave things I haven't craved in awhile. Just wasn't sure if this is a side effect of the lyrica or if I am just really ready for spring???
