i had pain since age of seven,i had rheumatic fevr and was told i would have RA. i'm on 500 mg vicodin every 4-6 hours that does not kill all the pain. i was useing heat pad but thoght i burned my back. No i get burning feeling like sever sunburn, i read that is part of fm.

I get burning from my back pain too, but I was told it was nerve pain.

i'm going throw pt to see if it will help. i had x-ray and my DO said i have significant arthritis in my back. i feel much better knowing i'm not NUTS or cry baby,that others have this too, but i'm also sad that others have too go throw this too.

Good luck with pt, I have gone so many times and it has never helped me that much, I have had to quit going because I can no longer to repetitive movements. I hope they can help you, honestly, there are somethings that they do that feel pretty good and I really loved when they put that huge heating pad on my back. Good luck and hope you get some relief soon.
