I get so, upset with my energy level.

I plan to do things with people and then the day comes and I end up calling and backing out. I hate it.

It has gotten so, bad I just quit making plans with anyone anymore. Even at church I love doing things at church for the bible school but, I ever know from one day to the next if i will be able to help out.

Now in order to do things for the church bible school I ask them to let me do things at home to bring to the classes. Things like crafts for the kids to work on. That way surely if I have a week or two to do them before bible school starts I will have enough time to get them done. Usually I will have a couple of good days in a weeks time.

My church knows i want to help and they understand my problem and so, they work with me to be able to take part in the bible school. I am blessed to get to partake in that. I also, get to make the hot dog sauce for the entire church for our picnic for the kids. I do make good sauce if I do say so, myself. Well, atleast the church love it. lololol

That is the way I have to do anything these days. I have to know ahead of time how I can help someone or plan with someone that understands when the day comes I might have to back out. I just don't know from one day to the next how I will be feeling. Many have asked me to go shopping with them or go out of town with them I just tell them if you are willing to call me the day you want to go sure. If you have to plan ahead of time I just can't say I will go. I really hate to be like that but, most of the people that love me understand and so, far it is working out for them and me.

It does make it hard for the holidays however, I don't do them anymore. The kids have the dinner at their homes and if I can show up I do. I have gone to their homes and not able to stay long but, atleast I show up. They all know why and have excepted that it is all I can do. Even the grandkids bless their little hearts call and say mom maw are you feeling ok today>? If I say yes then they ask if they can stay all nite. Many times I say yes when really I don't feel good but, we do ok they know when they see mom maw and so we just have a slow nite watching a movie or something like that together.

Do you all have problems making plans ahead of time like I do?

Brenda

I also have energy level problems. It has gotten better with my CPAP machine. I still wake up during the night but when i get to I feel better. I have missed so many things because of being too tired or having too much both or both. It is part of our lives. That is just the way it is.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

I have energy problems to and usually i take an energy pill first thing in the morning but it only works if the pain isnt so bad. I have missed several days of classes this quarter because of the energy problem.

I will answer the hotdog sauce question....its sorta like sloppy joe sauce or hamburger, ketchup and spices. It is so yummy on a hotdog with onions or just by itsself.

Hugs, Alicia

Proviligil or adderall are supposed to help. The problem is when you have mitral valve prolapse you cant take them.

Hahahahahaahahhha

I foget most people don't know about hot dog sauce. lololol

In kentucky we put a meat sauce on our hotdogs.

This is a meat sauce something like a chili without beans and it sure makes the hotdogs good.

Everytime I go up north and ask for a hotdog with sauce they ask me what kind of sauce i want. I tell the hotdog sauce and then have to explain what I mean.

They look at me like I have two heads. lolololol

Now I just ask them to put something like melted cheese or chili on the hotdog and let it go at that.

Around here it just isnt a hotdog without hotdog sauce. You can buy hotdog sauce in the stores. It is not as good as homemade but, veitti makes it in a can and it is very cheap. Very good but, well I have a special receipe that will sell hotdogs at a bake sell faster than you can make them. lolololol

Really it is a mix of ground round with tomato sauce and spices and slow cooked all day long. Of course there is more to it than that. Those are just the main ingredients. Yummy! The coney dogs were something like it but, they had chili with beans on it.

Hope that explains it to you if not I will try again. lololol

The problem with the Adderall and the Provigil is that these are prescription drugs and with all the other drugs we take are we really in need of more drugs?

I take a vit. B-complex which seems to help alot. I did take just vit b-12 but, found out that can deplete my other b vitiams. Now I take a multi vitiams by oil of olay. It is a mulitvitiam with minerals made for women and has realy helped me alot. One bad thing is they have stopped making them. Crap it is always that way. I find something that works for me and they will stop making it every time. I can really tell when I miss one day of these vitiams too.

I am really thinking about writting to oil of olay and asking why they stopped making them. Telling them I have fibro might get them to rethink their decision. Worth a try! Probably it was because, they are so, expensive but, what meds are not. The vitiamins cost between 16 to 28 dollar a box of 30 supply which is pretty expensive for vitiams but, if they really help what the heck.

I feel it is better to take a vitiam than a prescription drug when possible.

Just my thoughts
