MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

I thought it might put a smile on our faces to write out daily experiences/thank yous to someone who has helped you with your problems from Fibromyalgia that day!

*********************

Thank you Jae (my fiance) for running to my side (even though you were in the middle of playing a game) to clean up the broken glass jar I dropped on the floor. You didnt want me to step on any glass and didnt want me to try to bend down to clean it =)

Thank you Mom for calling me to check in. Always making sure that I'm doing okay and to tell me you love me!

Thank you MDJ members for posting the Embarassing (not being able to take showers daily) Post and letting me know I'm not alone! We can stink together lol

What a nice idea!

I want to thank TinaL, without her cheery but concerned pm's to me when I first arrived here, I don't know where I'd be right now. She doesn't realize how much she pulled me through. She's one special lady, one of God's angels.

I want to thank Roy and all others who are responsible for this site. So all of us can meet with such great people.

And I want to thank all the fibro gals for their show of courage to tell their stories, and respond so loving to others in need. There are alot of angels in the fibro support group.

I want to thank my husband for sticking with me and cooking for the family when I cannot bear to get up and move and for washing the laundry because he does not want me to lift it. My kids for understanding and letting mom sleep all day when she is whiped out. My mom for getting the little kids today so they could get out of the house. God for keeping us safe and together and for giving us life.

I want to thank God for giving me the most incredible family and friends. For giving me wonderful doctors. For giving me life and showing me ways to overcome many obstacles. For saving me and knowing I have a home in Heaven for eternity.
When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and I could say, "I used everything you gave me." ~ Erma Bombeck

Ellisha, that's wonderful! Let's put it on bumper stickers! Let's all stink together Smile

Now I'm getting all mushy- it's Fesup's fault! I love you, too, you! You quack me up!

Lessee, if I start thanking everyone, you guys will have to push me off the stage like at the Oscars!

I'd like to thank my Hampton, my "Blue Moon of Kentucky," my "Yellow Rose of Texas", my "It took me 4 days to hitch hike from Saginaw, I've come, to look for America", my "North to Alaska" my Sissy, my Squeaky, my hippie chick from Ohio, my son, my dil, mi amiga, my pharmaceuticals, Dr. John K Su, that cute little rheumy who I can't remember his name- you know, the one that diagnosed me, my new friends, my old friends, my 8th grade science teacher (I really liked him), Chagall Monet Einstein,

A host of others I don't have time to name, because they're brining the music up!

And most of all, my sweet, sweet hubby, Clint!

I too want to thank you all for truly being my friends, my cousin's, my brothers, my children, hubby, my mom. My rheumy for helping me in this journey. God is also on this list, and is the first of the list.

I also have a few co-workers who are the best nurses I work with and always know what I am going thru, since they too are going thru the fibro problems as well.

Thanks to every one. Yep, my turn to get off the stage. But not without security having to come and take me off!!!!!! Oh, let me run around in circles. That might help me!!!!!!!!!!

Tina, te amo mucho.

Olga

I would like to Thank, God for giving us all each other without him where would we be? I would like to Thank, my Sis, Casty, Viv, BC, BelBo, bluefibroangel, janilee, BabyGirl, Fibromom, Zhone, jenndill, magicman,Hampton and Roy. I am so very Thankful for this site and all of those that are here.

When I found this site, I had no idea what Fibro was or how I was going to deal with it. It hasn't been easy but it has been a whole lot better now that I have friends, family and Sisters that know and understand what I'm going through. It's great to have the feeling of NOT BEING ALONE. When I was first diagnosised with this, I had no idea what I was going to do, but with all the help that I have gotten here, it is easier. THANK YOU ALL FOR WELCOMING ME INTO THIS FAMILY AND FOR THE LOVE OF THIS SITE, THANKS ROY. God Bless You ALL! shortstuff
