 Cindysue, may I ask you your age and what diseases other than fibro you listed? It is amazing to me how some folks get it right away or around a year and some have to fight. I am in the Cincinnati area and my SSD person is in Columbus, same for you?

 I've heard the best way to get action is lawyering up, which is what I've done. I also use the med applications at www.pparx.org which has been a life saver. The one you mentioned for the cheaper gabapentin is also one I use. I don't know what I'd do if these weren't available.

Cindysue, goodness girl, turned down 3 times. Bless your heart. I sure hope this March appt goes well and definately in your favor. I just hate the way society treats us like lepers(sp). And the government. Shoot, I was told in my denial I could sell Real Estate. OMG, that was such a stressful job, and not knowing from month to month whether you'd have closings to pay your bills and get food. I kinda wish these people who turn us down had 1 day in our shoes. They wouldn't be able to stand it! Then things would be different!

 Hi, I'm located in springfield and my alj hearing is in dayton. I'll be 55 this year, along with the fibro, I have cronic fatique, IBS,(IRRATIABLE BOWEL), RLS, (RESTLESS LEG), SLEEP APNEA, PVD(PERPHIARL VESCULIAR ), AND JUST A SLIGHT CASE OF COPD. I quit working in april of 2004, filed for ssd in december of 2004 and was turned down, field an appeal, was turned down. So now I go in front of the ALJ for a hearing and I'm having such anxiety about it that my fibro is out of sorts. I can hardly stand it. I'll be so glad when this is all over.
