Its a frequent problem for me, especially mornings and evenings when I'm tired. Although I do find during the day suddenly one eye will go blurry for a minute or two. I worry about optic neuritis, but my rheumatologist didn't seem to think it was a problem. (except to me!)

The first time it happened was a Sunday and I went to the hospital to get it checked thanks, but they couldn't find anything wrong. It seems to be the way of Fibro - lots to feel and very little evidence as to why!

I asked my opthalmalogist about the blurred vision somethimes. He said it's due to dry eyes. It happens because while working on a computer or staring at a TV, we are not blinking our eyes as much.

Visine makes a product called Visine TEARS. It works great for me.

I also asked him about fibro and eyesight. He said that fibro doesn't cause poor vision. It's usually the meds that we are taking that is causing the eye problems. He also said that there isn't a way to tell if a person has fibro by doing the complete eye exam. You can try the visine tears. It works for me.

Hugs

Jan

I was going to suggest it might be one of the meds you're on. Like Lyrica can cause blurred vision. It's not the only one, just the one that came to mind. If you're taking any meds, you might check the side effects.
