"I have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain." (dwjames)

MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

I was up early AGAIN and started thinking about some stuff....

Things I wish I could say...

...but will confine to this note.

1) I wish you had asked me before deciding that FM ruled my life.

2) I'm jealous that you hang out with her so much lately.

3) Sometimes what you want to do in life is not what you should do or are meant to do.

4) I'm not sure why we're friends...it's so back and forth!

5) I love you.

6) Don't decide that I've failed before I've started.

7) You make life worth living.

8) Just because I have moments of weakness does not mean I am not strong.

9) You think that you know me, but you don't.

10) I act like a happy, crazy person, but that's not always me.

11) There's more to me that you seem to think there is.

12) I'm doing my best!!

13) You have no idea how dedicated I truly was.

14) Sometimes I feel like you're using me.

15) I can't explain how hurt I am that you don't seem to care.

16) Adults are far from perfect. "Kids" can do more than you think they can.

17) I will rise to whatever challenges I face.

18) You have no idea what goes on inside.

19) If being mature means being unhappy, count me out.

So yeah...I thought others might want to put things that they want to say to people, but probably never will......

1) I wish you had asked me before deciding that FM ruled my life.

2) I'm sorry I have FM...

3) FM is real not some cop-out for the doctors!

4) I'm not sure why we're friends...it's so back and forth!

5) I love you.

6) I DID do a lot even if you didn't SEE me do it!

7) You make life worth living.

8) Just because I have moments of weakness does not mean I am not strong!!!!! (times 100)

9) You think that you know me, but you don't.

10) I act like a happy, crazy person, but that's not always me.

11) There's more to me that you seem to think there is.

12) I'm doing my best!!

13) I DO NOT CARE TO LOSE WEIGHT FOR YOU! Only want to for myself!

14) Sometimes I feel like you're using me.

15) I can't explain how hurt I am that you don't seem to care.

16) Why can't you watch the baby while I take a nap? Why do I HAVE to go out and do something with the girls??

17) I will rise to whatever challenges I face.

18) You have no idea what goes on inside.

19) I will do anything to keep you happy but I'm beginning to wear down

20) If you were really that understanding to my needs you wouldn't think that the pain was all in my head and tell me to get over it, it's not that easy

Rather then being your thoughts and emotions, be the awareness behind them..

Me a doctor? No way! everything I say is based on my experience only, please don't take my opinions as medical advice.

1) I wish you had asked me before deciding that FM ruled my life.

2) I'm sorry I have FM...

3) FM is real, not some cop-out for the doctors!

4) I wish you didn't seem angry that I am sick.

5) I can't help this.

6) I want you to understand but can't talk about it without sounding (to you) like a whiner.

7) I am scared.

8) Thank you for telling me to rest when I'm too sick to know what I need to do.

9) You think that you know me, but you don't.

10) I am sorry I'm not always bubbly. I can't always fake it.

11) I hate having to choose what I will and will not do.

12) I am, at times, embarrassed by this.

13) There is no magic cure. This is my reality.

14) Are you trying to one-up me? I won't play that game.

15) I hate feeling, looking, and acting twice my age.

16) When you say "Imagine how bad you'll be in thirty years," it hurts more than you can imagine.

17) When you ask "What's the problem today?" it reinforces my belief that you don't get it.

18) If I could just fix this, I would.

19) You think I complain all the time. You have no idea how little of what's going on I actually tell you.

20) I hurt every single day of my life, and that affects my personality.

What am I supposed to learn from this that I have not learned already?

This is one thing I wish I could say to God!

oh, nothing Smile It's just a way to vent how you're feeling and maybe see that other's feel the same way you do!

OK this one doesn't pertain to FM, but it's something I'd like to say to some people, but I'm just too polite.

"Take a bath for heaven's sake. Water is free, it's everywhere."

What brings this on is that I was in a store last week and there was someone in the store that smelled so bad they couldn't have bathed in a month. You could smell them through the whole store. I made the mistake of getting too close and almost puked.

I am not a doctor. Please consult with your doctor before following any advice given by myself or anyone else on this or any other forum.

EEEEWWW!!!!

I can NOT handle body odor. My hubby seriously NEVER smells bad(this does not include his breath! LOL I can say please brush your teeth). I think that is part of the reason I married him lol.

I have a very sensitive nose.

Love,
Casty
