Imaginary Pain

You cant see it, so you don't believe

You say I am crazy and need to leave

My pain is real, not just in my head

My body so tired, its like I am dead

This was not my idea, it wasn't planned

You will never know, never understand

How much it hurts, how much I suffer

You call me weak, tell me to be tougher

Why is it so hard just go day to day

Just send this affliction so far away

My body denies me of all my power

As I lay asleep, hour after hour

My heart is heavy with distress

I don't know what to do, I confess

How do I live with all the defeat

A simple life, now hard to meet

But I will go on, I will not abort

The life I live wont come up short

I will find the strength to prevail

Knowing in my heart that I cant fail

So for people like me, always in pain

I know your sadness, and your strain

But keep on going and you will see

If you keep up hope, you will be free
