I have to earn some money and working in a dental office as an assistant is just too painful to do full time. I can do part time...most days, but jobs with those hours are few and far between. We need my income to make the mortgage payment and I havent worked since November 2007. I dont know what we are going to do. I dont have the time or energy to try for disability, Heck I dont even for sure have a diagnosis! With all the stress I just feel worse even thinking about me working.

Does anyone work from home and what do you do? I want a real job making real money, not making thousands a day. Any suggestions would be great.

Linda

Have you looked into E-Bay selling. If you are a organized type of person, and have the drive,I believe it can be lucrative. I would do it but I can't seem to get enough good days together to get it done.Get some books on the The only other thing might be real estate?Let me know what you think.I just want you to know something I have learned in this process. If the worst thing that happens is that you can't make the mortgage because you can't work,it is NOT the end of the world. Your health and well being should always come first. I really wish someone would have told me this years ago and maybe I wouldn't be in the shape I"m in. I have lost my job,my friends,my ability to do the simplest things,my home and yes maybe even my marriage(we're seperated but going to counciling)but I am still standing and plugging away and learning more about myself than I ever really took the time to learn. I guess what I am trying to say,is it will be okay,it really, really will.I'm done preaching, and I hope you aren't offended.

I am currently looking at online stores. I am thinking about going with Shopster.com, but it almost seems to easy. You know, like it is too good to be true. Real estate is not something I think I want to get into. It is not a good market right now and the idea of showing houses and setting up open houses kinds of scares me. When I have a bad day do I cancel it? I have 4 kids and my hubby is looking at purchasing the business where he works when his boss retires. I have to help keep our credit good and right now it is not good enough. If I can get to work for 3 years things will be fine, but I just dont know how I'm going to do it.

By the way it takes a ton to offend me, so dont worry. Say what ever you want.

Thanks Linda

I feel the same way about the real estate thing, not for me. I never heard of shopster.com but online sales is the way of the future. I wish you luck in your search and please keep me posted,I really want to know how you do. I wish I could get paid to lay on this couch with this laptop on my knees typing away...but right now I am so thankful I have it and all my internet friends who give me so much love, understanding and support that I don't know what I would do without it.
