Has anyone here ever heard of a bed or mattress that is recommended for fibro. I have a sleep number bed and it's ok but it's built kinda cheap and it's starting to fall apart. Is there another type of bed out there that's good for us?
I can't do everything all the time, but I can do some things some of the time.

Good afternoon! We recently invested in a memory foam mattress. It's only two inches, but VERY comfortable! It's great for my back, hips... But mattress size memory foams are available as well as one between two inches and mattress size. Check it out.

I have a memory foam mattress and pillows. Truly the best investment I made for my pain. It relieves any type of pressure in your body. It's amazing~

I broke down and bought the Cuddle Ewe quilt topper after reading all the benefits it offered. I have been using it for about a week now and I am must tell you that IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. It claims to conform to your body and and relieve the pressure points. IT DOES NOT. Also the info claims that because it is filled with 100% sheep wool that it wicks aways the sweating and keeps you dry. IT DOES NOT. I still wake up wet to the bone. It comes with a 90 day money back guarantee so I have until April 17th to return it. It is going back as soon as my husband and I can get it to fit back into the box it came in. I was extremely disappointed in this product. DON'T FALL FOR THE BENEFITS IT CLAIMS TO HAVE.

We bought a 3" egg-crate memory foam mattress topper. It's working fairly well.

I think it's hard to find something that actually works for us Fibros. I wish the best in finding something that works for you.

hi guys, I have the best bad in the universe. I sleep on an intelligel (InteliBed) bed and have an intelligel pillow. They have a really soft one, a middle one, and a harder one. I use the middle one. The first time I layed down on it was the first time in years that I actaully had some relief on my pressure points! It is a miracle bed. They are pricy, but well worth the cost! Smile

every night I go to sleep, I wake up about an hour later in severe pain. especially my face. I can't even touch it. then I roll over and an hour later the same thing. anyway, I probably can find the memory foam pillow at walmart, but do they carry the mattress topper also or do I need to go to a speciality store?

I have a tempurpedic mattress and pillow. It was an investment that was well worth it for me. It took about a week to get used to b/c you don't roll around, you just lay still and sink in. I sleep 100 times better! I have a little less pain, but a lot less fatigue during the day. The only down side, if there is one, is that I lay so still that my morning stiffness is worse from lack of movement. But, I'd take a little extra stiffness over sleepless toss and turn nights anytime! Highly recommend Tempurpedic. Now, if they would just make one that turns you automatically (without waking you up of course) about every hour, it would be perfect!Grin

Wow! That sounds soooo great!! I just wish I could make the investment. It's like starts at 2500 doesn't it?

Boy, why is everything that sounds so elpful so expensive!! Wouldn't it be nice if the insurance companys paid for itGrin Like that'll happen!!
