MDJunction to me

jenniferdiva"MDJunction has been just an amazing support for me. The people who are on mdj are so nice! Unlike the many other support sites that I have been on. I have made several friends on mdj who are so supportive and so educated about mental illness. Of course non of us are doctors, but we certainly offer each other hugs, opinions, and advice. I have learned a great deal from my friends on mdjunction. I am also encouraging other people who suffer from mental illness to come on to MDJ. It can be a life line." (jenniferdiva)

I know that a lot of you have water deds for the comfort, do any of you have the water pillows? A friend of ours from church has one and we have ordered one that should be here tomorrow. It is VERY comfortable, you can fill it with water to suit your particular needs so if you need it firm or soft you can do it. I was telling my daughters pt about it and he wants me to bring it to him when we go back. I can't wait for it to come in I am sure I will be ordering several more for our house.

Really? Water beds are good for fibro? I had no idea. My one experience with a water bed was not a good one.

Even at age 18 I had a bad back. It was hurting me really bad and a gf w/ a water bed invited me over so I could sleep on it. I couldn't stand up the next day!

A water pillow, though, that sounds kinda dreamy Smile

BC, I have one and I LOVE IT!!! I wouldn't give mine up for nothing. I even take mine with me when I travel!! Just remember one thing, they are heavy so when making the bed make sure you don't just grab it thinking its a normal pillow!!LOL It will hurt your arm trust me been there done that!!

Hugs!!

Hampton does it get really cold in the winter? of course this only really applies if you used it in Ohio, not so much in FL lol

I know water beds are heated but I have idea how they would heat a pillow

The pillow stay cool but not cold either place. But the water bag is in the middle off like a regular pillow with padding so your not really sleeping on the water bag. Does that make sense?LOL

Really love mine it conforms to my neck and supports my head and you can fill it up with different amounts to make them softer or harder which is a great feature.

Yeah, that is about what I paid for mine, it was $39.00, if it helps, you cannot beat the price to help with the pain.
