I got the best nights sleep I've had in months last night with the Percocet and melatonin. I actually feel like a human being today, which is a pleasant change of pace!

But I have to say that Percocet is one of the weirdest drugs I've ever taken, although I haven't taken all that many drugs that weren't antibiotics.

Took another 1/1/2 mg of melatonin at 8:30 tonight, then a Percocet at 10:00...and NOTHING. No light headedness, no drowsiness or 'buzz' of any kind, so I took another at 11:00.

This is like the 2nd or 3rd time I've wondered if the pharmacist might not have substituted a few sugar pills...

Hopefully this one will do the trick because it's almost 11:30...and 6:30 comes way too early. Actually it comes way too early EVERY day, which is why I love weekends so much! Smile

I'm glad to hear you got the goodnights sleep you were hoping for. I hope you have just as much luck tonight.

Do you think maybe it will work faster if you lay down right after you take it?

Meds:
Geodon 160mgs daily
Tegratol 300mgs daily
Klonopin 1-2mgs prn
Synthroid .100mcg daily
Protonix 20mg daily
Hydrocodone 5/350mg prn

I am so happy for you for getting a good night's sleep. WOOHOO!! Party! I think I'm going to have a great one tonight. I'm already feeling really tired and it's only 7:30pm here.

I hope it works for you again. Hopefully your body isn't adjusting to the percocet already!

Good luck!

Love,
Casty

Kristy, I'm glad that the Percocet and Melatonin worked for you. A good night's sleep makes all the difference in the world in how you feel.

I've suspected that there were some "sugar pills" substituted in some of my prescriptions. I wonder if there's a way to get your pills checked to find out. Don't you love paranoia?Smile

Dang. This is my THIRD try to post this. The first time I just lost it, then I got distracted looking something up and didn't do it in a new window...sigh.

So, once again...thank you for the excitement over my good night's sleep! And AGAIN...I hope you all get a great night's sleep, too!!!

I just counted what was left of my Percocet, so I know I've only taken 20 of them since Feb. 27th. Can your body adjust to them that fast? If so, I think I'm in trouble. But, after an hour, the second one has kicked in a little bit. Not as much as it usually does in the first 30 minutes, but at least I'm starting to feel a little drowsy. Good thing because, as always, 6:30 a.m. comes WAY too early!

Casty...I just noticed that thing that says Alaska in your posts. Lucky you! Along with Maine, Montana and Colorado, that's one state I've always wanted to visit. In fact, I'm kind of jealous that the son of one of my friends is going to be stationed there for the next three years with the Coast Guard. Kodiak Island, I believe. I looked it up after she told me. Very pretty country up there.

Cool, I lived in Kodiak for a few months, I hear the CG base is great. As a civilian not so much lol I have my stories...but I digress...

Of course I am probably just really spoiled by the beauty of SE Alaska. Nothing compares.

Kristy, doll! I'm so happy for you! Sleep is p-r-e-c-i-o-u-s!

Melatonin has the added benefit of reducing migraines. It reduced mine tremendously. The recommended dosage for that is 10mg/day. I've had just two migraines in the last year. I used to get several a month.

Cheers!
