Today was a busy day that's for sure. The hubby and I looked at an apartment today and we filled out the application for it so we should here something by Monday. Granted it's an apartment but we really don't have much choice due to medical reasons and just other things in our lives we are facing foreclosure. So any positive thoughts and vibes sent my way would be greatly appreciated.

We are going to be spending the week-end going through things and getting things packed because we will be moving soon one way or another. As far as our animals I believe we've got the situation worked out and thank god for really good friends.

The hubby has already told me that when we do start moving that I am to be the one in the house unpacking and not carrying the heavy stuff. He knows that I will be laid up for days afterwards if I'm carrying couches and stuff. So that takes some pressure off my shoulders. WE have family members offering to help and of course the kiddo's can help. My Daughter who is a teenager will be a huge help. She helped me move into the house that we live in now over a year ago.

So I'm gonna keep my fingers and toes crossed all week-end and hope that we get a good call on Monday.

Hello wifeandmom,

I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you too.........

I also faced forcloser last year.......... I lost both my home of 27 years to forcloser and my retail store that I owned for 25 years.... the silver lining is the apartment we got has been a god send, it is all on one level, so no steps for me to deal with..... there is even a pool and hot tub and at 1/3 the monthly payment of my house that I lost.

I do miss my house some days, we built it and all my kids grew up there but after all is said and done it is just a building and I still have the most important part of it all the great memories and a family that loves you.

Hang in there and only do as much as you can let your family members pick up the brunt of the work............I know that is a hard thing to do, I always want to work as hard as everyone eles or harder but you will be in weeks of extra pain if you do, just be a great delegater

Hugs

Bella

I am so very sorry you are losing your house, but it sounds like to me you already have something that's worth alot more. You have a supportive and loving husband and daughter and the help of your family. Houses or apartments come and go but loving supportive people in your life are very rare and precious. i not only will wish you the best of luck but you will be in my thoughts and prayers. And just get the hot bath water ready and the pain meds, because no matter how little you plan to do you will over do it.

I'm so sorry that you're struggling. I wish there was something we could do for you. I will tell you what my dad told me when we lost our house a little over a year ago (I think I've told you my story about bankruptcy and losing our house...)- anyway, my dad told me, "Honey, you're not the first and you're certainly not going to be the last. So please try not to fuss too much about it. It will be okay. YOU will be okay."

You sound like you have a great family, and I don't need to tell you how important that is. You are very fortunate. The house and things you may get rid of are just materials. Your family, well.... I'm pretty sure you know what I'm saying.

You just take care. Try not to overdo. And keep visiting us. We're here for ya!

I will be thinking of you this weekend and wishing you the best. It is such a horrible economy right now, and with our constant medical care, it makes it extra hard. Your positive attitude will definitely help you! Also, your supportive family is so important. I will keep my fingers crossed too.

Terri
