MDJunction to me

liamacker"The part of my recovery plan that I would say made up 80% is MDJ. I suffered a lot prior to finding MDJ, felt alone and had no one to talk to who really understood me. In the Bipolar Group I found like minded individuals who I could relate to and who offered support to me when I needed it. As I recovered, I could then offer support to them which gave me a good feeling about myself. I have met some great people here who I would class as good friends and know I would still be in the slump I was in without them. Now I am stable, I know that MDJ plays an important part in keeping me that way. Thank you MDJ for being there for us all and making us no longer feel alone." (liamacker)

Could it be that the places where we feel pain in our body, there is actually some form of toxicity at that point?

I read in another discussion on natural treatments about using glutathione...

It must be that the liver is not doing the job of detoxifying well-enough, and we have painful flare-ups as a result.

I'm taking a cayenne supplement, which seems to help a lot with the pain, but I wonder if it increases the body's detox mechanisms (in addition to helping with pain) because it makes me quite thirsty, and more hungry than usual...

I believe there is a high toxicity in our systems, because when I have blood taken, my liver enzymes are always high, as well as sugars, cholesterol, etc. I haven't tried cayenne but just started D134, which is a homeopathic formula to help with Fibromyalgia. When you've suffered for a long time, you're willing to try just about anything.

Interesting. I think I am going to research Cayenne and try for myself. I have tried natural and homeopathic and organic, juicing, not eating gluten or dairy over 20 years. Nothing has helped but like Takroom I am open to try anything.

MoiraWolf,

Have you seen fat, sick, & nearly dead (a documentary)? the producer documents the changes in those things when he's on a juice fast.

Nope, cant' say that I have. I am trying to jump thru the hoops so that I can get gastric bypass this fall or winter tho. I've fought with my weight all my life, and I'm sick of it. I now have diabetes (tho very mild at this point) so the weight's become a "have to come off" situation, and since I've fought with my weight for 30+ years, it's time for drastic measures
