be disabled from pain and fatigue AFTER you take medication and do physical therapy and what not?

or does that mean you are supposed to amp up the meds cause you are not supposed to have disabling fatigue and pain when you are already taking meds?

what if you are not getting better and it's just gon be up pain up meds, up pain up meds, until its a cycle?

Dcree, I think being tired after PT would be normal for some people. it's wether it is absolutely wiping you out. If it is, thats something to tell your doctor. It's possible to be something else holding you back, unless you have just gotten really deconditioned from being too inactive for too long.

I don't know what meds you are talking about "amping up". Definitely follow your doctor's directions on meds if I'm understanding you correctly. Are you saying that you are worried about having to increase the dosage on some pain meds as time goes by in your fibro disease? Or that you need to go up on them to endure PT? Because if it's the PT, I think you have to share with the physical therapist if it's sending you over the edge painwise. They won't know if you don't tell them, that they need to adjust the pace/intensity. It will be somewhat of a push is you are way out of shape, but all a matter of degrees.

Sorry, I hope I'm not totally misunderstanding and frustrating you.
