since my dr put me on lyrica he claims that I don't need pain medication anymore and wont give me any. he referred me to a rheumy and I can't get in until the 22nd. I did a search for dr's in my area and found dr. dreyfus. he's supposed to be "fibro friendly" I called his office and he's booked until march, but I can see dr. carlson on the 7th. the receptionist explained that all the dr's in that office work together and dr. carlson is also fibro friendly. so now I only have 7 days to wait. I also went to see my psych dr. she prescribes me the cymbalta and provigil for the fatigue. the provigil wasn't working so she prescribed me ritalin and it has made a dramatic difference. I still suffer from fatigue, but the weakness in my arms and legs are gone. then this morning I woke up in terrible pain. I was so desperate so I called my podiatrist and he called me in some darvocet. now I'm finally getting a little relief. I just had to tell somebody that understands what I'm going through. thanks for reading!!!! |
