ok this is what I found when I googled blue moon amoung other things.

Visibly blue moon

The most literal meaning of blue moon is when the moon (not necessarily a full moon) appears to a casual observer to be unusually bluish, which is a rare event. The effect can be caused by smoke or dust particles in the atmosphere, as has happened after forest fires in Sweden and Canada in 1950 and, notably, after the eruption of Krakatoa in 1883, which caused the moon to appear blue for nearly two years.

So there ya go

You know it's bad when the most productive thing you've done all day was look up what a blue moon is. LOL

Ive done that too many times spruce. You know when its bad when you have gone through the whole day and you cant remember anything that you have done.

I know what you mean. LOL, I forget what I was going to say or do all of the time. My family jokes that I am the only person that can forget to go and pee. I forget when I am walking to the bathroom. Half way there I stop and ask, " what was I going to do".

This happened quite a few months ago. But you know it's bad when.....

You tell your teenage daughter she will have "unlimited" text messaging. You forget to change it. Then you get a bill for $400 worth of text messages. Then scold the teenager because you don't believe her. Only to have your husband say, "Uhm...I was sitting right there when you told her that she'd have it after such and such date."

Ugh! That was a costly $400 Fibrofog mistake!
