Ok we r suppose to have hot and humid weather tomorrow and I usually have more pain but tonight I hurt so bad and it's in my lower back/hip and legs . But my upper body that usually hurts does not hurt that bad its like the pain gas moved and i'm not use to this kind of pain in those areas although I do have pain there its not this intense so the question is does the,pain just move lime that all of a sudden bc all I want to do is remove my lower half rite now. Psalm 91

*sighs* unfortuantely, I think it's just another gift of the Fibro Fairy. Since Fibro pain isn't caused by actual injury, like a pulled muscle or torn ligament, there's nothing keeping it in one place. It's actually in the brain, a misinterpretation of the signals from the various parts of the body. So in a case where it's "usually" here or there, that means those nerves are the ones usually involved. But since there's no acutal injury or disease causing the pain, other nerves can become involved at any time. The baths and stuff help because those things usually sooth hurting muscles, thus the muscles signal to the nerves they aren't hurting as much anymore, and the nerves tone down or "dial back" the amount of pain they feel. At least... that's my story and I'm sticking to it!  I am not a medical doctor and any medical opinion I give is based on personal experience and/or research. AJ, I'm having the same problem tonight...my legs hurt so bad that even though I'm tired and need to go to bed, I don't want to stand up and walk again cuz it's extremely painful. It's been hot hot hot here as well and it rained overnight last night so it was gross and sticky out today too...can't wait for tomorrow (she says sarcastically) I have taken my pain pills for the day, and a muscle relaxer but just realized that ibuprofen usually works best for humidity related pain for me. But again, that would mean getting up and walking to the medicine cabinet...ugh! I hope you feel better soon...I know it sucks but hang in there I am not a doctor but I play one on TV

yes unfortunately it does move around a lot. most of the time it's in my legs and hips...sometimes it gets really bad and moves to my arms/neck and shoulders. Blessed Be, Roze

I'm sorry that you are feeling bad still. I hope it gets better very very soon!!! One thing that I wanted to add is to make sure that you are getting enough water every day. Sometimes(and I'm not saying it's this time) leg pains and such can be caused by mild to moderate dehydration as well.
