I am new to fibromyalgia, so I have so many questions! Does anyone else get really bad pain in your arm from your elbow all the way to your shoulder? Mine runs along my triceps muscle and it feels as though I have a really bad bruise everytime I touch that part of my arm. It is so sore to the touch!

I think it is part of the nerve pain we get. Are you on Neurontin or lyrica? Both of those are for nerve pain. Mine goes all the down to my wrist. I would tell your dr. about it.

I also have pain in my arm (right) that goes all the way down to my wrist. I don't take either of the meds listed above. I take other ones. I also wear my wrist brace & use ice/heat, whichever helps the most (usually heat).

Welcome to the site! I am glad that you found it. Everyone here is very caring and willing to share their experiences. Hope you get your questions answered.

Hi all, I am new to Fibromyalgia. I was diagnosised in December. I too have many questions. I had an Anterior cervical Discectomy and fusion done in July. After my Surgery I had worsening Neck, shoulder pain. I also have pain that radiates down both my arms into my wrist and hands. It is most worse at night and first thing in the morning. However is there all day. It worsens with repetitive movement or activity. Like chopping vegitables, folding clothes. I was describe the pain like Grown pains you may have gotten in your legs or feet as a kid. Does anybody experience this? My neurologist says this is not coming from neck but is the fibro.

My pain is more of an inner pain that comes from the bone and radiates out. Sometimes my arms are so tender that my long sleeves hurt when they touch me. Most of the time I feel like I have been chucked out of a plane and then hit by a train. The past few weeks have been horrendous and I am in so much pain. My family doc wont put me on any real pain meds because i am so young, but I am going to call the new doc that I have been going to and see what she can do to help me with the pain. If any of you have any suggestions, I would appreciate them very much. Thanks so much!

I get the pain in my left real bad, it makes me cry

It usually radiates from my neck & down my arm, it's the left one. Quite a few years back I did have swelling/narrowing in C5,C6,C7 (cervical cord).

When I was at the doctors this month he couldn't even touch me, my son drove me. It's been pretty bad the last couple of weeks & I'm waiting on approval for an MRI of my neck & shoulder.

My arm feels like it's on fire also, I'm trying to have coffee this morning & can't even open a sweet&low pack without wincing. My fingers will not cooperate.

Hope you can get the mri. Sounds like you might have herniated disks. Take care please.
