Another thing that I found that helped somewhat is a TENS unit. it is like the e-stim at the chiro, but it is a machine you use at home. It does not get rid of the pain, but when it is on , your brain is more focused on the "zaps" of the machine instead of the pain. Granted, when you take it off , the pain may still be there but at least it can provide some releif.

I hope you feel better!

Hugs,

Kyra

It must be awful if it's still going on. Did your labs check any vitamins or minerals? I have seen some people swear that accupuncture straightened out the way their body was acting. Hope you find something to work soon.

Hi Maureen- I thought the article you wrote was written by me! You have similar symptoms to myself. I too have flare ups and think that I have countless other illnesses, but it always goes back to Fibromyalgia. But we are just human, and when new symptoms appear, our mind starts racing. I have had a 5 month flare up with new symptoms, including severe pain and weakness in arms, legs, and back. So I went and had an upper back MRI and sure enough I have 4 herniated discs, with 1 pressing against a nerve, and a 2nd bad one too. I already knew I have 4 lower herniated discs, so you could easily be affected by your back. You should get an MRI of your back ithe way you have scribed your symptoms. I am meeting a spine doctor and a neurologist this week to figure out what is casing what, and what to do.
