MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

Hi, my name is Sirena and I have had fibromyalgia for 10 years. I would love for you to check out my website for my upcoming 800-mile solo hike across Arizona to raise awareness for Fibromyalgia at www.aztrail4fms.org. There, you can also find out more information about the hike as well as my personal fibromyalgia story and blog. Funds raised will benefit the National Fibromyalgia Association. I am organizing this fundraiser by myself, so any help in spreading the word about the Arizona Trail for Fibromyalgia is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Sirena

So who's doing the hiking?

HI... I would like to know also like Teaintn WHO is doing the HIKING?? Well if I read this website right this young lady is....

If it were me I would have to hire it done..... there is no way I could... If you took the number of good days I have in a week, which if I am lucky it might be 2, "if I am lucky", and if on that good day I could walk a half mile...... I think it would take be somewhere around 7.7 yrs...

Well if it can help bring awareness to Fibro, my hat is off to you...

But my one question is..... If I asked it, it would be edited out.....

Hi, all! Yes, I will be doing all the hiking, but I also have a great support team to bring me water, food, and supplies during the hike. For those of you who have not done so, please check out my fibromyalgia story at www.aztrail4fms.org

There you will see that I have come a long way from not even being able to walk to the end of the block and back. I know how lucky I am that I was able to find the right combination of meds, exercise, stress relief, etc. and now I would like to give back by raising awareness.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thanks for your support!

So what do you know that we don't? If you have the answer to fibro, please share it with the rest of us. how long do you think it will take you to do this hike. My husband is a big hiker, the Smokey Mountains and the AT trail, but even he said this was too much for him. He has a full time job and couldn't take off that much time for the 800 mile hike.
