Good luck on the skinny book. I don't like to read books I get bored. So that would be the number 1 problem. I am not one to use repices #2. #3 I am to the point where I hate to cook.

So Mo are you saying that gabby is a weight gain med. That is one that I take faithfully & cymbalta. The synthroid med and the hashimoto thyroid is a problem with my weight lost. I go down 6 lbs and then seem to go right back up 6, but never over the start weight. I am not a sweet eater, I take spells with the sweet stuff. I did real good last week with the 3 meals a day because I did not have to cook last week, but I ate healthy. I think I did pretty good with the weight thing. Adewyn knows. Sad to say today it is 8:44pm. I just had my 3 meals in one, which I have to admit has happen since this past Sat. So you know what hat mean I have not had my meds for today. I'm tired of cooking. If anything I need to get into this zumba stuff that I have spent $150 on. Right now I can hardly move, took Mom to store, and I promisie you I walked that freaking store 10 times pick up stuff she forget to tell me while we were on that side of the store. Ever freaking part hurts, to tired to get up and get meds.

I didn't know Gabapentin was a weight gain med, til I read on here someone (forget who) was refusing to take it or had to come off it, cause of the weight gain.

My Rheumy cut my dose from 9 capsules a day back to 6 total, 3 doses of 2 each. But I'm horrible and usually forget the mid day one, so actually I cut back from 9 to 4 a day. And the pounds are just melting off. I'm having things I really shouldn't eat... like donuts... and the weight's still coming off. I didn't realize how much the Gabapentin had made me gain.

I'm terrible too, about eating one meal a day usually. If I have cereal, I'll eat that for breakfast, but if I'm out, I usually just skip it.

I take 800mg 3 times a day of gabby. I miss the thyroid meds a lot. This is a time release med and should take it a least 30 min before meals. By the time dinner comes I've forget to take it in time. So I miss it a lots.

I can't miss my thyroid meds, I don't have one. Took it out in 1977 when I was only 13 due to Hashimoto's. The right side was hard as a baseball in my neck and the left side was so swollen and enlarged it was down under my collarbones and into my chest! The docs said they didn't know how I was breathing, It was squeezing my windpipe til it was the size of a pencil!

I've missed my thyroid for weeks once. THAT was a mistake!

RW, even if you forget to take it before a meal, take it before bed, or with food. It may work best when taken on an empty stomach... but I took mine for 30+ years before bedtime, even if I'd just eaten, it was only this last February that I was told take it on an empty stomach!

OK, thank. I have notice here in the last month. That I get a little tickling(sp) and I have to drink water to get my breath. Last month my TSH was in range. I go back to Dr next month and to have lad work again. I also have a hacking cough. It does hurt at times when I swallow. They just found a mass on my sister and she going to have it removed soon. My niece also has one, which I think hers has turned in graves disease. She is not being treated do to no medical coverage.

When I went to the dr for my physical the other day, they asked me if I was on a special diet...I was at a loss for words...I uh, uhm, er, uhhhhh, no, I don't think so..Boy they must have thought I was the dumbest person on earth...

I have been eating a lot less lately, and really not on purpose. Just not able to eat as much I guess. Been trying to keep busy as I can, and that helps...Also helps if I'm sick in my chair, cuz it's too much trouble to get up for food. I hadn't gained any weight in 2 weeks, but hadn't lost any either...Hoped to have lost at least a lb or 2, but no such luck...

RW, Hope eventually you got something to eat...We can't have you waning down to skin and bones, you need your energy to entertain us! HUGS

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Shit I think the only time I was skin & bones is when I was being formed in my Mommy belly. After birth it was all over with. Had that coke cola bottle shaped up till aget 18 then poof it got lost in this fat. So I worry but I will not stress. I'm just fat and cute.
