yes this is what i thoguht with fibro. i may see him to rule out calcium problem or magnesium but yes i do hear this happens with fibro too. in fact, isnt it the main symptom of fibro???

thanks alot, i mihgt do a quick check up cuz this is gettin kinda wierd, not the norm for me, i usually get other fibro symptoms, and i am so MAD at myself for taking too much iron recently, just want to kick myself in the butt right now!!!! really , i do. i dont know what i was thinking, ok well i was thinking INCREASED ENERGY but i might have found something else to solve that, but no, i have to go and do something that might have hurt me, but i do hope not. i stopped the iron real fast. im hoping these werid pains arent related to that persay but i would like to get a check up just to make sure my calciu is ok( i dont know how it could be) and that i didnt do too much iron, so i may do that. i just want to wait a tad more cuz i just saw my doc not too long ago, and i hate going in too much. but he is amazing though, he is super super nice.

so im a wait about week, so what happens, and maybe go in....

plus for my tummy probs too,

love

maureen

Are you getting enough Vitamin D? Your body needs Vit d to absorb the calcium and if you're deficient in that (Vit D) then you can experience a lot more pain. Does your calcium supplement have vit d added? Here's a bit of info on how those two work together:

http://www.niams.nih.gov/health_info/bone/bone_health/ nutrition/

Also, dairy isn't the only thing that contains calcium. You can get it from broccoli, greens, soy milk and other things. There's a list on the above link that might be helpful.

Here is some more info regarding vitamin d deficiency and pain, as well as other diseases and conditions that are associated with deficiency:

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/vitamin-d/NS_patient- vitamind/DSECTION=evidence

When I was first diagnosed with fibro, my doc told me that my vitamin d levels were "dangerously low". I was at 6. Anyway, he gave me a prescription for 50,000 UIs a week for, I think, 3 months. It helped me a lot.

Of course, I'm not a doctor and can't diagnose your leg cramps, but it's something you can think about or talk to your doc about. Good luck.

oh yes, i was vid d deficient but now, ahhahah im not--- i spend so much time in the sun my skin is starting to dry up lol, im sure to get lots of vit d for sure. but thanks, good idea.

im so worried on this, thanks guys, it is really freaking me out, not so much on the pain but it is a weird pain, not norm for me. and well i did overdo the iron but i told my freind about the iron i took and she doesnt think i took enough to cause any problem i did not take it ever day but ever week for about 5 days, then id skip a week ,last time i skipped almost 3 weeks. so im hoping that is ok. ill check it out anyway...

dont know what to think now.

thanks guys, so much

love

maureen

sooo. im trying not to let this get to me, but goodness, my legs keep cramping up on me, baaaad. and now my arms too? this is getting to weird, sure i had fibro pain before but this is more strange, idk.

so im seeing my doc on friday so well see what he says. i read so much on lack of calcium can do this, and i have been not eating calcium for 8 months so i started a supplement( which is so hard to swallow and too big). but i dont know, im just scared, i feel weird from this, and i dont get it. im trying to relax but i cant , cuz if i just started my career and i get messed up like this, can i do it? luckily, with writing u can work from home so that is good.

but my god, my legs are just hurting so bad. and the rain has been horrrible here.... weirdest thing, tons of rain in JUNE.

im so scared, scared i messed up with the iron intake, on a relapse, of, not being able to walk agian like last year. i dont get it, im trying to hold on but im scared...

love

maureen
