MDJunction to me

saralaurie"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

I know a lot of people can't afford meds or doctors. I feel TERRIBLE now that I have been of my Topamax (migraines) metropolol(rapid heart, pvs, near blackouts) Atararax(for anxiety) and I have one ambien left. I have no money, so I am working for a dollar an hour on amazon like sweat shop wages. I can't get paid until I have been doing it 10 days and I have only made $9.00. I can't believe how many student loans I took out and with almost four degrees, 2 bachelors, teaching cred., master's in education. I busted my butt always working and going to school full time so I would not end up like this in financial ruin and poor like when we were little and for what. I hate FIBRO and CANCER! I have so much anxiety and stress over no rent money, no utilities money etc etc. I have been looking at every type of assistance and grants, work from home, and not much is available to a single person with no children who wishes they could have had children!!!! I am in a lot of pain and just frustrated. I am so so so so thankful and grateful I got my food stamps approved (snap) but yikes you can't even by toilet paper or kitty food with those. Well I just had to rant and vent a little because I am loosing hope. When is enough enough?

I understand not being able to work and not making the money that we should because of fibro. Five years ago, I made over 50,000 a year by myself alone and since I am now on disability and my husband has had several heart attacks, we made just under 30 last year. As a family, we have learned that we cannot do what we used to or get what we used to. It is depressing and it is so easy to feel like a failure. So many people say I am lucky not to have to work anymore but they do not understand how it makes us feel especially since even though we cannot work we still cannot go and do as we please.

Oh, do you have a Publix grocery near you? They offer metformin free to customers as part of their free drug program. I went today to get my husbands but wound up having to pay some because he take the extended release. Also, go to needymeds.org and there are programs that most drug companies have that you can get your meds for free.

Lily dear, I know the frustration and fear of losing everything, not being able to afford meds you need to be able to get up and move...it really, really sucks! Is there maybe a group in your town that helps with rent, utilities and that kind of thing? We have one in my county like that, it helps pay our rent, and it helped with our power bill. Thankfully otherwise we would be out on the streets again. Going without water is bad enough don't want to do the whole no utilities thing ever again. There are other online companies you might be able to get some work through like this one http://www.taskrabbit.com and Mabri posted another website but I can't remember what it's called, I'm sure she can give it to you. Don't give up hope dear, you have a lot of help here and we care and understand. Hugz and Love

I am so sorry lilyrose. I understand too. I have 3 Rx's I can't get that are just sitting there.

This week I have to buy two Rx's for my poor buddy, my dog. He's so sick (diabetic and blind) and he's 11 and I can't have him in misery. They are both over $50 each and I just don't have extra money. It's either his meds, my meds or groceries. So this week it's his meds. I love that dog.

**Have you tried WALMART with their $4 prescriptions? I have seen my grown son do it, they really do have some. Also, ask your Doctor for samples. Call them if you don't have an appointment coming up. They don't like their patients to go without. I think they might be able to help you. Try calling the doctor! And sometimes the drug companies can help. I am not sure how that works but they do help. I wish I could help you.

Sad so sad that people have to go through these things. *hugs* to you all!

found a walmart link here for you to check:
