I was curious to find out about everybody's pain. I am in pain everyday but in the evenings it is more unbearable. I don't have flare-ups and then "good days." I feel the same way everyday. I dread it. Some days I do push myself and other days I pace myself only to have the same result...PAIN! I feel like no matter what I do, it's wrong.

I hear ya. I don't really have good days either, just that some are worse than others. Pain everyday, 24/7, to a moderate or worse degree. I get worse in the evenings too. I've often thought that it might be that that's when I stop moving as much. As long as I'm walking around, teaching, shopping, etc. I'm not as bad. But as soon as I try to rest my body really starts screaming.

Hi,Terri! My pain is definately the worst in the middle of the night or the morning. I can hardly get out of bed. I have to force myself to get up to get up to take my meds. Lately I've been keeping my meds on the nightstand with a bottle of water so I don't have to walk as far.

I know that for most people it seems to be in the morning that they are in the most pain, but not for me. From about 3:00 on I'm usually the worst.

I normally have a constant pain level, until I do something to agravate things... like any sort of activity Then I seem to go into about 3-4 days of lots of pain. So long as I take it easy on myself I have the normal pain level that's slightly worse in the evenings.

But it's different for everyone, and it takes some time to work out what works best for you, so keep on hanging in there!

I am worse in the morning when I first get up and then again at night. My best times are afternoons. I have pain 24/7 but if meds were not waiting for me on my dresser I dont know how I would get myself up.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

Oh, yeah. The stiffness is definitely at its worst in the a.m. Again, I think from being still so long.

I'm right there with you angel. It's soooooo hard to get up in the morning but it is also so hard to stay in bed because I desperately need my meds as soon as I wake up. I also have pain 24/7. At night it's not as bad for me. I guess because I have taken my meds throughout the day.

Looks like we all have things in commom. Like all of you, I never, "do not have pain". Just different degrees. Mine is worst in the evenings. And, stiff in the morning. I guess like teach123 while I'm at work, it's not too bad, maybe because I have to think about something else. Not to say I won't take a 1/2 pain pill at work if necessary. Luckily I work in a cubicle and don't have to work with the public. My cubemate will joke with me sometimes and call me a druggie. But other times he'll ask me if I'm alright.... when he sees me trying to get a cramp out of my hip or leg. Quite the sight

Bless you! I don't know how you can work. I worked in a cubicle in an office and there is no way that I could sit ther all day. I can barely sit for 10-15 min without having to get up.
