MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

for me this whole thing metamorphasized with numbness, tingling and weakness in my arms and shoulders. now i still have the numbnes and tingling like a pinched nerve. the weakness is so bad that i can't hold dishes to wash them or any thing else. It wouldn't matter because i would get stupid and forget what to do with them anyway. thanks for the huggs.

The numbness and tingling in my arms, hands and toes started after the pain,it somtimes so bad that I can't hold on to stuff either. Which is ok cuz I can't remember what I wanted to so with it anyway.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

Well Guys,

Your not alone!!! After 20 yrs with this illness, about 3 yrs ago I started with pain in one hand..went up my whole arm then I developed tingling, numbness and pain. Then it did the same thing with my other arm! I had nerve conduction done I think 2 or 3 times...nadda!! The only thing I can guess and learned on this site others suffer with the same symptoms. So I've had everything else ruled out so I can assume quite comfortable now that's the Fibro.

So...along with the pain comes more fun!!

I get the numbness too. my arms are like weights today and I can't feel my toes. I have to wear those very fashionable shoes haha that you just slide into.

I had numbness and tingling so bad that I could hold onto anything. I was dropping dishes, dog leash, etc.. Neurologist did nerve test and found 4 pinched nerves. Now I have to wear wrist brace so i dont get carpal tunnel and take anti inflammatery for that plus my ra meds, and my fibro meds, etc.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

I get tingling, numbness and weakness in my hands also. I drop EVERYTHING! I wear braces at night because I was recently diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel. (LIKE FIBROMYALGIA WASN'T ENOUGH) I also get tingling and numbness in my feet. Therefore, I trip and fall constantly. It is so frustrating!

I know exactly what you mean. I'm constantly driopping things or throwing them accidently. Lately I've noticed when I'm real tired my hands are shaking alot more than is normal for me

Snoopy, are you sure you're accidently throwing thing or are you realing throwing them at somebody? lol! I also know what you mean. I also drop things. I have had tingling in my hands and feet for some time, especially when I am asleep, it would wake me up nearly evry night. My doc prescribed me valium for it and it actually helps. Or maybe it's the 3 neurontin and the valium that I take at night that just knocks me out cold.
