Hello everyone, I'm alright, had a flare that took me down a few day with diarrhea again. Went to new rheumy today. I like him, he was very thural(sp) and took his time and explain thing to me. He seem to also think I have polyomalgia with the Fibro. He is also looking at Lupus. Protein in urine which cloud effect my kidney. And checking on why my mouth has twisted. Do you think it could be a light stroke? I was scared to ask. He want me to stay on Prednisone for a month. Prednisone is one of the meds my PCP put me on do to he also said polyomalgia, but my old rheumy took me off after two days without talking to my PCP. But I have to go back to the office next week. I'm not claiming a thing. I was told Lupus back in the early 80's, I did not claim it then and I pray that it is not true now. As far as my lab work in the pass it never showed up again. I know it has been said that it may not show up for years.

But the pass few day I have sweated like crazy even now. I don't know if it was fever or what. Thanks for the concern. I try not to complain. Although I know this why we are here. To tall and suggest. I guess something I get into a denial stage. And I just crawl in the bed until the pain gets better.

I though about everyone and since I was still able to move around a little. I did not want to bother my Buddy's.

In the mean while I've got to get control of whatever is going on. Food id staying down but it is coming out the other end.

Any suggestion??? Thanke to you all.Sad

RW. I'm so sorry you are feeling so lousy. It sounds like a bad flu. If the diarrhea continues, take immodium, but sometimes the "bug" just has to work it's way out of your system. Your feeling about not owning an illness until you have a firm diagnosis is a good idea. We have enough problems without worrying about something that may not be there. Steroids is one of the treatments for polymyalgia. I am surprised that your doc stopped it. One of the problems when we go to several different docs is that medications can get screwed up.

I think your sweating could have been part of the flu, although fm makes me sweat like a hog.

You know better than anyone that it is never a "bother" to your fibro buddies to listen to you when you are sick. Isn't that what we are here for. What would you say if someone said that to you???? You would scold them for being silly. I hope you get this bug out of your system quickly! I'll be thinking of you. Geri

Thanks G, I don't think it is a flu bug. This same thing happen a week ago. I know this house full of family is here for us and that I will get a feed back on what I said. Yes I would say something if someone else had made the statement as I did. I'm not suppose get get on here and talk sickness. It is my job in this house is to be silly and get on everyone nevers. Make my sister's and brother's laugh. I suppose to have control. I can not find that core of what ever it is and get it out. Less more I have no control and that is not me. Thank you. I'm listening

Rw,

I am so sorry to hear that you have been sick. You know we are here for you, and yes, you are always alive and keeping us laughing....but..there comes a time when you need us, and you know we are here. If it makes you feel any better..you do continually get on my nerves....LOL J/K You know I love you!!

I'm not familiar with polymyalgia, but I do hope that they do not find anything else going on with you. Do not own it, and do not let the enemy know that you are being tested. You are in my prayers and thoughts. HUGS

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Marbi, keep praying. I'm doing the best I can to fight this enemy. It hit all of an sudden and I mean hit.

I just went to get a glass of water from the fountain. I was trying to sit the glass down on table, but I lost my grep and water went everywhere. Now I have a mess. Chairs are cloth they are wet plus water all over the floor. Gee Whiz.

Thank you for doing what you do. Love ya Lady, RW

Thanks for sharing this. I had never heard of Polymyalgia before. It does say that that can clear up and go away...That would be wonderful for you if that was the case. His will, not ours. HUGS

RW. I read the link. IF it turns put that you do gave polymyalgia, you need to remember that it is curable, and does not last all that long. BUT.......you are not sure of what is going on here, so let's not jump to conclusions until all the facts are in. Of course we prefer it when you are joking and entertaining everyone, but you are entitled to rant and rave like the rest of us do from time to time. Sometimes it makes you feel better. Hope you feel better tomorrow......we need some damned laughs around this place. It gets a bit depressing and boreing without your jokes!!
