MDJunction to me

JAYEPAWS"It means that finally I have someone to relate too. that I'm not the only one with these kind of problems. it really feels good not to be alone in this. I've made some good friends. I appreciated the support that I have found here at this site,

where as other parts of my life I don't get.
Thank you for being there & creating this site.

I sent a few hospitals, through their "contact us" page, information to help them create awareness for Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. Feel free to copy what I wrote and e-mail hospital systems in your area.

Here is what I wrote:

May 12th is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. I have lots of information you can make flyers with and post around the hospital or give out.

1. This would make a nice hand out or to post. It is succinct and easily digested.

2. This next link is very lengthy but is an eye opener and quite helpful for individuals with Fibromyalgia to understand they are suffering from many symptoms that ARE related to Fibromyalgia.

3. This last link is also good for those with Fibromyalgia but many Rheumatologists use this to help them diagnose Fibromyalgia. This is the new 2010 criteria. The site also has nice videos and slides and brief write ups.

I am not a doctor nor do I work in the medical field. My opinions and suggestions are just that, just what I think and have to offer that I hope is helpful to you. Always rely on your doctor when making medical decisions.

That's awesome! I will also e-mail it to my local hospitals and see if they will put some flyers up there. The more people know about fibro, they better our chances are of one day getting a cure. HUGS
Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.
