"Fibromyalgia" (MedicMom)

MDJunction to me

Sylvia4648"I have suffered from depression most of my life, but had some long, non-depressed times. The last 16 years have been an on-going, constantly worsening nightmare for me medically, socially and with my family. 11/2008 to the present has been the worst time in my life, and new things just keep piling up. During that time I’ve gone from being mostly homebound to being totally homebound due to the errors of about 2 dozen doctors who overmedicated me so badly that I came home w/ 4 conditions I didn’t go in with. I spent months wanting to die, and finding MDJ may well have saved my life. It’s one of the worst feelings to know that nobody on earth needs you for anything; but now that I’ve been a group leader for awhile, there are people here who need me. Thanks MDJ." (Sylvia4648)

Bfly if this helps any. I have a niece that has been in recovery for 15 years now. She is a mentor and also received her 15 year medallion this pass Feb. She did it and you can too. One day at a time. Have you are can you talk with your hubby when you get the urge to slip.

Now this is a new day. Get back on track and hang in there.

Thanks.. I could talk to my hubs prior to relapse- but I've always been a stubborn (don't ask for help for let anyone try to stop me) kind of relapser... but that was then... it IS a NEW day!

Just an FYI... not drinking - last drink way May 1st... not "playing with my pills"--- learned the hard way that when they run out... pain comes back with a vengence! Trying to push through most of the pain and take care of it with hot baths and heating pad buddy. Been doing some writing in my journal- my new "AA" journal- so that's been helping. my medicine increases (psych meds) have startd to "slow my brain down a little"- so not trying to shut it up with alternate means. Gonna make it!
