MDJunction to me

saralaurie"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

I truly feel bad that I only stop in to say hi when I am laid up on the couch. It's just so hard... I spend 5 days a week working full or full and a half days sometimes so by nightfall I am exhausted and then if I happen to have a rare moment where I feel pretty good I just want to be up and off this darn couch. I feel like you should see an outline of myself on the couch as much dang time as I am on it. Anyhow - the mini rant is to say sorry to my friends on here for not checking in more and then only when I am laid up Smile Silly

I wanted to first offer up a praise - and I attribute this to my beloved husband who supports me so well and to all of my friends on here who have encouraged me no matter what I am going through. I have lost 5.5lbs in a month! Which is the first time I've lost any weight in years! So thank you woooohooooo!W00t

I have been doing a little bit more bit by bit. Its slow going but I will count it as a blessing that I am going at all. I still have times that I wake up down and out Fibro wise but then there are days like this weekend where I've done a lot!

I was able to go out car shopping (7 hours later) and only be tired enough to sleep (not so exhausted I can't move). Good Lord - when did spending 7 hours out and only feel tired make me excited? Smile Now I did have trouble sleeping and woke up tired as all get out today but you know what?!?!?! I still was able to go to church, lunch and even the store before I felt like I was going to fall down on the spot! I came home and rested and feel pretty ok - so all in all - a nice weekend.

So how is everyone else doing? I would love to hear from you - thanks for all of your support - in the good and bad times!

gentle hugs!

Congrats on the 5.5lbs! I know it's not easy when you are working full time and hurting, sleeping, resting...so many things to focus on and you managed to lose weight during all of it! Kudos!

Hello, Missy, Glad to hear from you whenever. I can understand working and taking care of homefront (the couch)lol. Better days will come, just hang in there. Ditto to hubby for being there for you. What kind of car are you shopping for. Glad it did not burn you out in pain. Blessing RW

Thanks everyone - didn't burn me out in pain but am paying for the weekend in exhaustion today. I just want to sleep! UGH! I need a weekend after my weekend to recoup LOL

We ended up with a tuscon - It's my 4th hyundai and I love them! Hubby spoiled me AGAIN and got me heated seats - such a blessing for when my back is hurting and we are traveling! So excited!

Ok - too tired to keep typing! LOL will type more later!

I know how that is. When you feel good you push and are too busy to stop. I feel pressured for time when I feel good, which rarely ever happens anymore. It's like I'm trying to beat the clock or something. Anyway, I'm glad that you are getting a new car. Sounds nice. I think the heated seats will be awesome!

Good to hear from you. You know us, we're not picky about when/how you join in...There are many days that I just can't make it, for one reason or another. I understand that if you are feeling good there are things you want to do that you can't do normally. Just pop in when you can and know we are here and thinking of you! HUGS
