I wake up almost every morning feeling like I've been drugged. my body is in pain and it feels like my arms and legs weigh 50lbs a piece. I am confused and exhausted. all I want to do go back to bed, but that just makes it worse. I know it's not any meds I am taking because this started before I was on anything at all. is this part of having fibro??

Unfortunately we usually wake up in pain and quite ready to take our meds. We get stiff laying in bed all night. When you do take meds a lot of them run out before we get up. It gets better after the meds have been in your system longer. Hope things start getting better.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

I feel like this all the time and as of right now I don't have the insurance to get the med's so I look like a 90 year old woman getting out of bed and getting around.

I feel drugged in the mornings. And, filled with soo much pain on top of that...jeesh...what do we do?!?

A big part of Fibro is feeling like you've not gotten a good nights sleep in the morning, even though you've slept. I guess we don't hit that 'stage 4' of sleep! We're deprived!

But try to remember...if you have a morning where you feel 'good'...enjoy it!!
