fibro patient affirmation

1) I have a real condition called fibromyalgia.

2)My fibromyalgia is not life threatening and I am not going to die from fibromyalgia

3)My condition is not deforming or paralyzing.

4)Fibromyalgia does not turn into a life threatening, deforming, or paralyzing disease.

5)I can do many things to "heal" my fibromyalgia evenif it can't be cured right now.

6)It won't be easy having fibro but I will learn as much as I can about my condition.

7)I will use that knowledge to manage my condition and gain control of my life with fibro.

8)my goal is to achieve the best quality of life with the least amount of pain possible.

this if from a book called " inside fibromyalgia" by Mark J. Pellegrino M.D.

This book has been very helpful to me.

I think it is great you posted this. I have had fibro a long time. I think this will help new fibromites.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

I'm gonna have to look for that book. I checked a bunch out from the library but I just didn't like them.
