I wanted to let everyone know I have a new Grandson. He was born 2/9/09 and weighed 7 lbs. 3 ozs. This is only my second grandchild and I am so happy. He is healthy and my daughter is doing great. He has a brother who is 3 and a half years old and loves his baby very much. Every time he wakes up his older brother wants to hold him. My daughter is breast feeding the baby and she makes a bottle for the little one so his brother gets a chance to feed him and help take care of him.

Congrats. YAY!!! It is wonderful to get the brother involved right off the bat. Your daughter sounds like a good mama.
Favorite Poem :
It is such a relief when you first find out.
That the pain really does have a name,
And then you will ask (and everyone does),
"Just where can i place all the blame".
No matter the limits, no matter the pain,
There's no evil, cruel "Master Plan".
It just simply happens, It just simply is.
You adapt, and you change what you can.
But even with the knowing the best and the worst,
All the pitfalls the future could hold,
You still have a choice, you quit or you fight.
You determine the story that's told.
And every small step that we take, my dear friends,
Each battle that we slowly win,
Just credits the love and the caring we share
With the FMily that we call our friends.

Just because it's impossible doesn't mean it can't happen.

I'm not a doc, so anything I say is my opinion only. Nothing I say is meant as offense, I offer what I can as help. I believe in educating myself on all my medical issues and being my own advocate, for no one else with do that on my behalf. I recommend we all do the same!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Perhaps I truly am insane for expecting these docs to listen to me when I say the same things repeatedly to no avail? LOL. I am tired of seeking out new docs and getting the same result time and again...Forgive me if I seem bitter some days.

Something has changed within me/Something is not the same/I'm through with playing by/The rules of someone else's game/Too late for second-guessing/Too late to go back to sleep/It's time to trust my instincts/Close my eyes and leap...I'm through accepting limits/Cuz someone says they're so/Some things I can not change/But till I try I'll never know/Too long I've been afraid of/Losing love I guess I lost/Well if that's love/It comes at much too high a cost/I'd sooner buy Defying Gravity/Kiss me good-bye I'm Defying Gravity/I think I'll try Defying Gravity/And you won't bring me down...

Share a smile and a kind word, and make someone's day better.

Any advice that I share is only that - my advice. I am not a doctor or expert in anything, except maybe experiencing pain. My "words of wisdom" come from my experiences or my research only.

I do enjoy both of them. The oldest is very outspoken and when my daughter was still in the hospital his grandparents on his dad's side kept him overnight and I was keeping him during the day. Well his mom got out of the hospital and he was supposed to come stay with me that night. He looked me straight in the eye and said I can't come spend the night with you because I love my mommy and daddy and I want to stay with them. When he said that I thought my daughter was going to burst into tears. You know the hormones were already going pretty good and then for him to tell people he loves his mom and daddy best just made her day.
