OK, sometimes I get so tired in the middle of the day that I have to sleep for a little while. When i wake up I'm weaker then when I laid down and have this stinging pain that feels like it is in my blood. I have to eat a little something or drink some fruit juice to get my energy up. I've been tested for diabetes and it is a negative on that. I also have CFS.

Does anyone else experience this when they have to sleep after the Fibro really kicks in?

I can't really feel my blood so I don't know how to help you with this. I have described it sometimes as pain in my bones, even though I know it's nerves. I'd mention it to your doc at your next visit...it could be something else completely!

I have pain all the way down, where it's turtles. You probably should tell your doc anyway, though.

jaeldridge18,

I also have to take naps frequently and usually when I first wake up it seems I'm more tired than when I first laid down, go figure... I don't have anything that feels like stinging sensations though. I think you need to mention this to your doc...

All day today, I have been falling asleep whenever I sit down. I have felt so sluggish today, that I could barely do anything. I am guessing it is just the fatigue of fibro and the fact that my sleep patterns are all messed up. I even fell asleep in church this Sunday, and I go to a roof raising Pentacostal church! It's almost like I have narcolepsy or something...I don't know...

Yes, definately ask your dr. Hope you find an answer HUGS

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Hi ladies,

I'm feeling a little better today. I usually have to take at least one new nap today or I simply will not survive lol. I will bring it up at my next doctors appointment though. Hope you ladies have a great day.

Dana Mae, I don't know either, you think maybe that is where it feel like something is crawling on you but nothing is there?

Jaeld, is that away to describe it?

Marbi, that mean that your body needs the rest. Sometime I won't take my meds before church or I would do the same. I know we should keep a schedule with meds, so what are we to do. But then I forget to take it when I get home.

Hedap, I agree mention to DR.

My Friend Ushie belated bd

Jaeld, glad you are feeling a little better today.Wink

HUGS

My legs feel all crawly... I describe it as feeling like a giant screw driver was put up against your skin then slowly twisted, so that it feels like the skin is slowly being pulled off of me and onto the screwdriver. Or I've described it as feeling like the muscle is about to charlie horse, but never quite cramps, just that drawing, burning sensation. With me, it's confined to my legs and it's part of my RLS. But I've been jiggling my legs to relieve that feeling literally all my life. I can remember getting yelled at as a kid for bouncing the table when sitting to eat supper, cause of bouncing my leg.

Realityworld- not like crawling but as Moira said a burning sensation is more like it. Usually in my upper arms and upper legs. It is usually after one of those naps where I wake up feeling more tired than before.

Ok, you no you have to school me on stuff. Ya, I have the burning at times. Heck so much stuff happens to the body to I don't know what is what anymore. I do pretty good in not taking naps, I think that is because I'm on here. Once I'm up I'm up for the count. I have notice and catch myself bouncing my left leg.Pinch Silly
