I originally posted this in the kidney stones forum and I don't think anyone goes there. anyway, I have kidney stones and I am having litho on tues. the dr prescribed me toradol for the pain. (wish i had a narcotic) has anyone ever taken this? I googled it, but I still don't know how well it works. since my family dr wont prescribe me any pain meds I wanted to know if I can take more than 1 at a time. the script is for 1-10mg tablet every 6-8 hrs.

This should answer your questions. In addition, I know that they often use toradol to ease the effects of opioid withdrawal.

thank you, I have already read all the info I could find. I guess what I was looking for was somebody who has taken it before and what their experience was. thanks again!!

I've taken it...but not on my own. It was after I had to have my gall bladder taken out and that's what they gave me (in my IV) for the day, night and next day.

It works for the pain though. So, take it like you should cuz it can make you sick to your stomach too!

Good luck!
