Hi Everyone!

Ok I know that a lot of people, along with me, have muscle spasms, but what about twitching? It happens all the time with me, I can always feel one muscle or another, whether its in my leg, hand, or stomach, just give a little jolt. It kinda feels like someone just shocked you, it's nothing really bad or painful but it's really anoying because it's always happening. I just wanted to know if this was all part of the whole fibro thing or if I should be looking into it a little more... Thanks

I get these a lot. I especially get the twitching in my eyes, which I think is due to stress. The twitching drives me nuts but I do my best to ignore it but there's not much that I can do about it other then deal with it. But I agree it's majorily annoying.

I have it too. Along with buzzing... do you feel little vibrations on your toes or leg at times? It used to really bother me but I have gotten used to it and basically ignore it.

I feel the twitches too. Sometimes you can actually see the muscles jumping. The first time my husband saw it he started thinking something is really wrong with my wife. my toes go to numb a lot. It is very uncomfortable. does anyoone have numbness too?

Sounds like me. My muscles twitch all the time. I also get the numbing. Sometimes it is so bad i drop whatever Im holding. My hands shake from meds sometimes. I think it is all part of the fibro. We are just doing the twitching dance. lol

Twitches, zaps, buzzes all kinds of crazy stuff and of course the numbness and tingling. When it all started 4 years ago it used to freak me out- now I do my best to ignore it.

"My entire nose and the surrounding area has been numb for 3 days- IT IS VERY ANNOYING!!!!!!

hi, I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia, BUT the twitches indicate it´s Lyme disease. It was when the twitches came I got really worried, it´s just so different from the pain. And sure thing, I was a LYME sufferer!

Now I have received IV antibiotics för 10 months, all pain gone!!

Twitching much better. So I recommend all your twitching fibro´s to really investigate if you are in fact LYME sufferers and can acheive complete remission with abx.
