MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

[b][u]Please, all my fibro friends give this a try, what do you have to loose? Grand total for this is $3.00, and nothing more. I got a tube sock, bought a bag of regular lentil beans at the store adn filled the sock. Tied the knot to keep it all inside and microwaved it, 2 minutes later I was getting relief. Lentils hold moist heat inside for a good amount of time. The weight of the sock sometimes can be a little bit much, but it really works, and for most of us and the things we need, this is one that won't break your bank, and will help you. Enjoy!! Be well. This can be used anywhere on your body and its reheatable hundreds of times. good for about a year and then replace.

Rice also works the same way, and is lighter, I put some in knee hi and wore it around my wrist, it really helped.

I've heard of this too. You can use either the beans or rice and god knows I have a ton of socks around the house that don't have a mate so that is something I will have to try.

You can also use flax seeds. They're a lot smaller than beans or rice so it molds nicely to your body. Moist heat too and pleasant smell. 2 mins or so in the microwave.

I've also used a TENS unit. It sort of numbs things out for a short time and we all know that even 10 minutes of relief is a godsend.
