Drinking chamomile tea? I was reading that it helps you fall asleep. Right now I could use all the help I can get to fall asleep. I'd be willing to try it and see if it works. I love tea so it's not a bad thing. Just figured I'd ask all of you if it has worked for anyone.

I think it helps a little. If I drink tea though before bed I will wake up to use bathroom. lol Melatonin or a relaxing CD. soaking in tub relaxes me and then Ill take my meds. Dont you have night meds? I use celexa to help me fall asleep. I think this other things work better.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

Right now I don't have any night meds. I'm getting an average of 2 to 4 hours of sleep a night, which I gotta say is not enough to get through each day. So I thought i might try some tea or something. Never know what might help.

Try some of the things I suggested. Maybe that will help too. Couldnt hurt. Hope your sleep gets better. You will feel better when you sleep more.

i drink chamomile tea but it does't make me sleepy or anything. My husband takes tylonlol pm when he has trouble sleeping, granted he doesn't have fibro, but you could try it.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel -- but it's a train about to run over you.

I heard that eating a bowl of cereal right before you go to bed helps you sleep. I don't know if it actually works, but it's worth a try. The herbs Kava, Melatonin and Valerian are also used to treat insomnia. I would look into the are side effects.I think you shouldn't take melatonin if you are depressed. Also, eat magnesium rich foods. Magnisium is a natural sedative.
