jaguarandcubs"MDJ is an integral part of my everyday life. Since joining in 2010, I have met so many amazing people. It is truly incredible to be able to share good times and not so good times with others who face the same health challenges. And MDJ has support groups for every condition I have. I don't know of anywhere else that can offer that. I love that I can learn from others as well as offer my own experiences for others to learn from." (jaguarandcubs)

It was unseasonably warm for a couple of days; then the heavy rains and high winds came; temperatures plummeted and it has been miserable the past couple.

Today we had snow squalls but nothing serious and nothing going on per the TV weatherman on news tonight ~~~

HOWEVER ~~~

The ground is rapidly turning white and local radio station says we could have 5-7" and are under a severe winter advisory until 9 AM tomorrow morning ~~~

Good grief, between the tornadoes South and West of us over the weekend and the ice and snow to the North, what else can come ?

Oh ~~~ and, I m hearing a couple of rolls of thunder as well ~~~

Praying everyone stays safe and warm ~~~

Have a good week ahead ~~~

Marilyn Smile

Good (?) morning, ushie,

I am in NW Ohio ~~~

It has been snowing ever so gently all night long . Thank Heavens, not much wind with this snow and I must say, it is gorgeous but I m glad I m staying inside all day today.

We have had the most mild winter here this year and IF we get 7" today that will be as much as we have had all winter long.

Enjoy your Monday ~~~

Marilyn

I'm reminded of the old commercials "it's not nice to fool (with) Mother Nature!"

Tornado season was always dreaded back home in Arkansas and Texas. I've spent many nights getting up at 1am cause a storm was coming and we had to get into the storm cellar. God, I don't know how many tornados I've seen turning in the clouds. (never got hit by one tho)

Even tho I've moved to Wyoming now, and it's much less likely to happen to me, I still want a dome home. Nothing for the wind to push against, aerodynamic. I'm going to just sleep thru those babies! (if I can ever get it built)

That's my whole like philosophy Adewyn. I'd rather prepare for the worst, and be pleasantly surprised when it's not that bad, than hope for the best, not be prepared at all, and be sideswiped by something bad (and be very unpleasantly surprised).

Keep them folks off the MOON. I have not read any where, where God wants us down here on earth try to come up here where I He is. When He is ready for us to come His way He will come get us. They get up there messing around with stuff.lol

It turned out that we only got about 3" of snow today but with the winds and afternoon sun, it is gone.

We ran an errand about 25 miles to the North of us and they got about 5" of snow and it covered all the grasses.

Schools were closed here this morning due to the icy roads early.

Tomorrow is supposed to be better and in 50s rest of week and into next week before thunderstorms on Monday.

RW, I AGREE, wholeheartedly, with your theory that ""when He is ready for us to come His way, He will come and get us"". Smile
