Man I'm wore out today. I was up by 8 a.m. and was in the shower and out of the house by 9 am. It took most of the day to run the errands that had to be done. I tell you I am wore out and I know I'll be paying for it tomorrow.

But of course I don't get a break tomorrow either cause my husband has to go back to the VA so I'll be spending the day with him there. It always takes forever at the VA.

Maybe I'll get a break this week-end.....

Good luck tomorrow at the VA. I'm sorry that you and your husband both are not feeling well. That's got to be tough. I'll keep you in my prayers! At least tomorrow is Wonderful Wednesday! 1/2 way to the weekend! Suzanne

I completely understand about the errands. It's a double-edged sword. If you do too many at a time, you pay for it. If you put them off cuz you don't feel well, you pay for it. It's a no win.

I am gonna pay the price for shoveling thru all the snow we got...4inches yesterday & another 5 overnight. My hubby started the snowblower, but that is just as hard...have to really push it thru the snow. Just my luck too...the snowplow left at least a car's width of the white stuff piled in FRONT of my mailbox! Sometimes I have a hard time letting other people do stuff for me. Anyone else relate?

I have went to the V A with my dad and you're right it does take forever. It always upsets me,because these are men and women that did the most selfless thing that can ever be done and that is serve this country and I don't think that the medical care they get is on the level they deserve. My dad served in the Korean War and very seldom talks about it,but he became and alcoholic soon after and now aa an adult I understand more of why. He has been sober for over 20 years now.But I will never be able to imagine what he saw or had to do there.

I hope you and you hubby are okay and you'll have a better day tomorrow and things will move quickly.

Thanks for the positive vibes, they really do help. I can totally relate on having a hard time letting others do things for me.

My husband spent 12 months in Iraq and 3 months in Afghanistan and from what he has told me Afghanistan was worse then Iraq. He doesn't talk about it too much but I can tell there are things that bother him about the things he saw. As far as the care at the VA I can say it's getting better, it's not perfect by any means but it's getting better. They are just having a hard time finding the right combo of BP meds and it concerns them cause his pulse rate is always over 100, it averages 123 and that's when he's resting. His BP is usually 147/95 and they are trying different things to get the med's combo right to get that down.

HI.... I would really hate to get started on what I think of the VA... but for the most part THE PEOPLE at the VA are trying to do a good job... Now our Government,,, no way.. When I was in the ARMY, and damn PROUD of it. I was told that one of my benifits was going to be the best medical this country had...... I just did not know they meant the best medical, this country had when it started back in 1776..... I think the Pharmacutical co. should be told..."hey these guys fought and made it possible for you to have your company. So the drugs are free"

The VA does save me some monies on meds.... but come on I am a combate injuried vet... I should have the best of care forever... not just for 2 yrs after you get out.............

OK I am down,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Off my soap box that is..........

Actually I found nothing, no sort of assistance. I had to end up pawning something so that we could stay positive in the bank and make sure that the bills we paid would be paid. So we still have no money and it's a wait and see sort of thing on any kind of assistance.

The stress is getting to me that's for sure. All night every time I turned over I said oww, oww cause it hurt just to turn over. I am so unbelievably tight and stiff. What I wouldn't give for a gentle full body massage. We ended up not going to the VA because we all slept past when we were supposed to wake up, guess we were tired.

I spent all day running today with hubby coming in town so i met him and we got his check then i had class. After class i had to go pay bills and go to the grocery store. On my way home (after spending most of the money) my son called to tell me the cable co was there to shut us off. So when i got home i called them and made arrangements to pay that tomorrow with my check from school. Now tomorrow i have to do it all over again when i get my check.

Geez...it never ends.

I hope your feeling better, take a warm bath with a bunch of bubbles and just relex, thats what i plan on doing tonite and maybe in the morning to prepare me for another busy day.

Alicia
