Does anyone have any trouble with their lower back right where your butt hooks on. I have been have trouble with mine for about 2 weeks I'm ok as long as I am sitting or laying but when I get up I feel like I will never get able to stand up straight. Sometimes it even make me about sick it hurts so bad but once I'm straight I will start feeling better. Does anyone have any ideas of how to make it better?

That's the SI joint area. I have extreme issues there, but mine is caused by other things, not FM. If it's muscular you can try heat/ice rotations. If it's the joint though NSAIDs may help.

That is one of my most painful areas - especially if I have been sitting too long. Heat and stretching is the only things that help me. I look like Granny Clampit(sp) when I start to stand.LOL

I also have that pain. I had an MRI and it showed DDD-L4&5/S1. I do get some relief by laying down with a pillow against back. I've also went to PT for help. Like hatbox said heat/ice rotation. But do let your dr know.

Hi, buddysmom, do you have sciatica? Sometimes mine kicks up. Heat, cold, hot bath, PT, anti-inflammatories.
