MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

Thank you for the welcome, I hope I don't offend anyone, I am pretty frank when I wright. I see that so many people have problems with their Dr's, I can't believe how lucky I am to have the team I have. They all listen to my whining and complaining and give me nothing but compassion and support. Even the staff is great, sometimes they call just to check up on me.

When I need time off of work, they usually give me more than I ask for. If you are not happy with your Dr, please try to find a new one. Just being heard makes us feel less crazy and frustrated.

Thats not always easy to do. All the drs in my area thought fibro was in head. I found a dr in another area but he wouldnt treat me properly. He would tell me I had spasms but wouldnt do anything. Now I finally found a neurologist. She is helping me so far but I already noticed she doesnt look at what meds she has given to me.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.
