MDJunction to me

Hazeldee"MDJunction means that I no longer have to feel like I am the only person in
the world with pericarditis. It means that I can talk to others who know
how stressful and how painful having pericarditis can be. It means that I
connect with others to discuss treatments that have or haven't worked for us, so that we have a leg to stand on. I think that having my friends at
MDJunction has allowed me to better mentally and emotionally process my
diagnosis and what it means to me. I feel so lucky to have this community
available to me. I use MDJunction as a way to use my experience to help
others. Reaching out to help others is the only solace I have found since
being diagnosed with pericarditis.

I wrote this song about 6 months ago. I am not usually one to share my music as I am not the greatest singer and I only write for therapeutic reasons, but I see how much my poems can help people so I thought I would go ahead and share. I thought about re-recording now that I am a little better at guitar and singing and such but I felt I should leave this because it was probably the most emotion I could put into it.

This is unlisted on youtube so only those with the link can see. It also has a painting I did to show my struggles as well. The painting is wrapped with barbed wire I made.

Thank you for this. I was supposed to go hang out with a bunch of friends today, and have to call off because I feel like crap on a cracker.

My motto lately is, "I'm not living, I'm just waiting to die."

Your song and especially your drawing moved me a great deal. Thanks again.

This is so beautiful and moving. I'm glad you kept the original version, it gives it a fragile vulnerability that conveys the feeling of hanging on by a thread. Keep singing and writing! You are very talented and I think your songs could touch many and increase awareness of FM and other autoimmune disorders. You put the Bra(ve) in Bravo!
