It would be so cool if they did. I'd sure be there walking for as long as I possibly could.

They have walks for so many things. Makes you wonder why not for fibro.

i got a kick out of this thread... it would be probably the shortest 'walk for a cure' ever! i can make it about a block, maybe two, but the next day i pay... but it would be worth every bit of it to make the public, and the powers that be more aware.

pondering, while sittin' on my bum... lol

WALK!!!!!! Even though the tought is a good one, I think we to rename what we'd do....how about scooter or being carried?? !

I'm not making fun of the suggestion, so please don't take offense.

It's the vision I have in my head...can you see us all hobbling, walking like the undead!!!! !

At least though, it would certainly make a point when they see all of us flat on the ground after about say uh....minute (visualize)!!

Spruce

P.S. Just having some fun

WAIT A MINUTE I got it. since it should be for awarness I think we should have to be carried by all those who don't believe in fibro, like that idiot who wrote the article in the NY Times, or unsupportive spouses ect. and after carring us say 5miles make them walk another 5 because then they would know how we feel and that would make them AWARE.

Whatch all think??

I don't think 10 miles is long enough... I think for the non-believers - they should have to carry heavy sacks every day... for 7 days... and 10 miles each day... Then we'll all tell them to quit their whining and that they aren't in pain... but that's just me I'm hurting today.... can you tell?

20 miles. I hurt today, too. We could always get a healthy person or teen to get donations for each block or mile and they have to wear a banner with a fibro sufferes name on it. AWARENESS. Need to laugh more.
