MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

Happy Thanksgiving to you also ~~~

I will definitely eat plenty of turkey because I looooove it !!! We are having ham also but that will serve as leftovers (as far as I am concerned) for several days. I d rather have turkey !!! LOL ....

I slept in a bit this morning and am hoping I won t need that nap you mentioned later because I need to go to bed early so I can get up for work (unlock store @ 2:30 AM for 4 AM Black Friday shoppers).

Hugs, sweetie!

No turkey here. I never learned to cook one. Plus we don't really care for it. Though I love, love, love stuffing!

We are having broiled salmon. A big splurge. Ice cream. Easy. S'mores in the wood stove. (My son love this!). I am making popcorn balls. I have a really easy recipe that's very wholesome (no corn syrup).

I hope you get to that pain center soon. Did you find one? If so, do you have an appointment?

I am thankful for this forum, too.

Thank you ladies for wishing me a Happy Thanksgiving and I am also wishing you all a great one too.

Oh Auntie I feel for you, it stinks that you must get up so early. I hope you have an easy day tomorrow.

Take care and will be speaking to you all soon. Hugs.

Oh Marilyn, I have been thinking about you sweetheart. I don't know how you are coping with Thanksgiving and then opening the store at 2.30 to face Black Friday at 4.00. Whew my friend - that is not fair! I hope they are giving you extra time off to recover.

Sending you LOTS of white light and lots and lots of gentle hugs.

Faerie

Sparkelhourse, I have not made an appointment yet for the pain center.. I have found one.. I go back to my primary dr on the 9th, so I am going to talk to him about it and then I have to talk to division of rehab services to see if they will pay for the visit to pain clinic because I do not have insurance.. My headaches have been really bad lately..

Hey there its tha Day after Thanksgiving I missed most the threads yesterday while battling the food I hope everyone had a great day and are taking it in stride today..

lostforwords, I hope you find relief soon, sometimes you have to let the doc know just how bad it really gets(the desperation) to get help that you need

we all have alot to give if one gets the help then some of this suffering is worth it..

remeber I am not a doctor I just say what I think
