OOOHHHHH Coolmom,

Foot pain is my middle name Silly !

I can't stand for long and if I do stand to long on my feet they literaly throb!!!Pinch ! I use to try foot excercises but I found no relief. I soak them at times but it's realy just a temporay solution. My hubby massages for me and that feels wonderful. I just think it has to do with the muscles in the feet. They spasm a lot.

The trouble with foot pain is it affects your whole body!

I know this isn't much help but at least you know your not alone Dizzy !

Spruce

If foot pain is spruce's middle name it must be my first name. I'm on my feet 8-12 hours a day. I actually had been having numbness I wasn't aware of until I took Lyrica and found out I got my feeling back. I also am currently dealing with a heel spur. What helps, mmm not alot. I don't mean to sound negative. I do have a massaging foot bath that my son bought for christmas a couple years ago and that does feel good. sometimes i use a massager on the too. Other than that I really don't have any other solutions

Ohhh i have horrible foot pain. I have a foot bath type thing that heats the water and massages the feet at the same time. I also massage my feet alot with lotion and that seems to help. I cant stand on me feet for any length of time without the pain starting and then it makes everything else hurt.

Hugs, Alicia

I have foot pain too! What helps is when I rub them w/ lotion then dip them in paraffin wax. I am not sure if it is the intensity of the heat or the fact that I have to sit there for 15 min that helps the most. My dr also suggested putting a water bottle in the freezer. Once it is frozen, you can roll it under your foot with the pressure that helps you the most. For me, ice doesn't help but hurt. The ice makes me tense up more. Otherwise, I wear my comfy slippers ~ like walking on clouds! Only if I could do that for the rest of my body!Wink

I've never heard of the paraffin wax before. I tried rubbing my bad foot last night with lotion cause nothing else seems to be helping and this morning I could hardly put my shoe on I have a huge bruse on the bottom of my foot now. I can't win

Paraffin wax is the stuff they use in salons for manicures & pedicures. I have my own unit becuase I originally bought it to help w/ hand pain. I later found it helps w/ my foot pain too! Added benefit Wink

Snoopy, so sorry you are having such trouble with your foot pain. Let me know if I can do anything for you.

The ice would hurt me to, the thought of it makes me cringe....lol

I think the parafin wax would feel good. I just told my daughter the other day when she starts beauty school i am coming in and getting my feet done in parafin every week. She said oh mom dont make me touch your feet....lol

I'm an Advocate

I had parafin wax therapy when I had my carpal tunnel surgery......

It worked really good and the heat felt really good...

They had me put my hand in the wax and move my fingers around..... not sure this is the same thing...but man it felt good.... it really did help to strengthen my hands
