MDJunction to me

Claire138"It's been a year since I joined the Parkinson's Disease Support Group on MDJunction and all I can say is thank you all for the support, compassion and friendship I've received and been able to give as well. It was a lonely night when I came upon this site, but the nights aren't that lonely anymore...
With gratitude to all...

We have Project Access here where I live. Project Access is where I worked until 2008. It is a very good program. I hope that this will be a help to someone.

Thank you so much Hatbox =

Spoke to 2steveB about helps in the UK too - he has added the following for medicines in the UK -

hi, uk policy on meds, if you have insuficiant income or no work meds are free.

if you have a good income and work meds are set at £7.50 (ish) for any med.

if he has any problemss getting meds see Dr and s/he will sort it out. here there is NEVER a need for "ow poor me" i need money for meds.

Hatbox, I can't thank you enough for providing these links for everyone. I don't have a landline so I use my phone for internet, but it's not a smartphone. So for now I go to the library to use the computer, but they only allow 2 hrs a day. So by the time I get through emails or other stuff the time is gone. Plus the drive to town is about 25 min. and sitting is not my fibro friend. That gets discouraging enough, before I even get started trying to find any kind of assistance. Thank You!! Thank You!! B

Target and Walmart have $4 generic prescription plan. It's cheaper if you get a 90 day supply. Make sure you ask your doctor to write the prescription for 90 days WITH refills. Print out the list of meds from Walmart or Target website and take with you to the doc so he/she can look at the low cost list and write the script for those meds by generic name.
