Hi there,

I am sorry I haven t been here much this past week but it s been a week from ""you know where"" since last Sunday.

I have felt like poop all week (just stress and nerves , I think);

Work has been very stressful (anything that could go wrong, HAS ;

Daughters' car (she lives an hour away) broke down (seriously); I got a speeding ticket taking her MY car;

Hubbys' truck is in shop getting new door (might get it back today);

New carpet came so been trying to get kitchen packed up and moved elsewhere in the house (UGH)and NOW:

Got up early this morning to start packing to leave for Florida (tomorrow morning) and they re predicting 8" of SNOW between us and the airport.

What next ?

Anyway, I hope everyone has a least stressful and less pain filled 10 days while I m gone. I will miss coming here every evening.

You all are very special to me !!! Smile

Auntie, you have a wonderful time and enjoy that warmer weather. I think in another post you mentioned something about Bradenton. That's where my parents live. Bradenton beach and all the island beaches that jet off it is gorgeous. We always stay on Long Boat Key when we go to visit.

Have fun.

Cool, gettingold, I KNOW I will have a great time and I m sure there are lots of things to see and do down there. I have been to the Tampa area a couple of times but it was years ago.

If I could, I d dip the airplane down and pick you up so you could see your parents..Wink

Thank you, Hilda ,

I wish I could take all of you with me to enjoy some warm sunshine and maybe make everyone feel somewhat better, if only for a few days .

Hi Auntie,

Hope you have a wonderful time & enjoy all that nice weather Smile

"When things go wrong and they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but dont you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
Its when things go wrong when you mustn't quit"

Thank you, Emma ...

It s so bitter cold here and more coming that my poor body doesn t really know what beautiful, warm sunshine is. I am not what one calls a ""sun worshiper"" but I will surely welcome it while I am there. Wink

LOL on the packing, Hilda ... I have actually packed TWICE !!! I had some nice weather outfits but also some for warmth packed until sister in law called yesterday and said ""it is to be in the 80s all week while you re here"".... YEA !!! I can definitely handle that !!!!
